OMEGNA, Italy – Renato Bialetti, the Italian entrepreneur know for having launched the Moka Pot worldwide, died on Wednesday at the age of 93 in Ascona (Switzerland). Son of Alfonso Bialetti, the founder of the eponymous cookware company, he took the lead of the family business in 1946 and became the “ambassador” of the Moka Pot.
