GANGNEUNG, Kangwon-do, South Korea – CURO Holdings, the official Korean partner of globally renowned Italian premium coffee brand illycaffè S.p.A., announced the official Korean release of illy ‘Idillyum Limited Edition’ capsule coffee on May 29. This specialty coffee will be available in an extremely limited quantity of just 5,000 units worldwide.
The ‘Idillyum Limited Edition’ embodies illycaffè’s unwavering commitment to sustainable agriculture and ethical sourcing. Crafted exclusively from the 100% Arabica Laurina varietal — prized among coffee connoisseurs for its rarity — this unique blend contains less than 1% caffeine, making it a perfect choice for those sensitive to caffeine.
The beans are grown using regenerative farming practices in the volcanic highlands of Guatemala, reinforcing illycaffè’s dedication to environmental sustainability. The result is a coffee with rich caramel aroma, subtle chocolate notes, and a sweet, fruity finish.
Roasted in illy’s signature medium roast, the blend is characterized by balanced acidity and sweetness, while minimizing bitterness to offer a clean and refined taste profile.
This limited edition is also available as a premium gift set, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The set includes two cans of Idillyum 21P capsule coffee and an exclusive espresso cup and saucer set, elegantly packaged for gifting.
