PATTAYA, Thailand – Hilton Pattaya recently joined the Hilton Worldwide APAC F&B Master 2015, a regional competition for Hilton Worldwide team members to showcase their passion and talent for food and beverage by organizing “The Bar Cup & the Barista Cup 2015”.

This competition is aimed at encouraging and challenging the hotel’s staff to showcase their talents and skill of coffee and cocktail during September 21-22, 2015 at Seaboard Ballroom.

“This is one of the five disciplines into the F&B Masters, we aim to discover, develop and celebrate extraordinary beverage talent. All 26 candidates are required to create and present their creativity and innovation in their coffee and cocktails.

The judging criteria include product knowledge, preparation technique, presentation, creativity & innovation for signature coffee/cocktail taste, work station organization and selling technique.” said Rudolf Troestler, general manager, Hilton Pattaya.

“We saw great talent amongst the young contestants; they have done their idea with deliciously fun and creative acts. And the winning candidate will represent Hilton Pattaya at the Country level round, competing with young bartender and barista from other Hilton Hotels in Thailand”

The winner of The Barista Cup is Khun Chainarong Naruethai with the attractive “Cantaloupe Mocha” and The Bar Cup is Khun Peerasak Ruangthatree from Edge restaurant with the outstanding cocktail named “Finale”.

The F&B Masters is an internal competition that discovers and celebrates the extraordinary F&B talent within Hilton Worldwide properties across Asia Pacific.

It is about people development and gives team members an opportunity to develop their skills and creativity in a variety of food and beverage disciplines that they are passionate about.
