The spotlight at Sigep will also be on the MUMAC Academy Arena, a true hub of experience dedicated to coffee culture curated by the Gruppo Cimbali Academy, which will enliven the Gruppo Cimbali stand with a packed calendar of unmissable events.

There will be presentations by some of the most famous international microroasters, tastings of Italian espresso and specialty coffee and delicious coffee, chocolate and grappa pairings.

Not to mention masterclasses on the top LaCimbali and Faema models by the award-winning coffee guru Manuela Fensore, the reigning World Latte Art Champion, and Francesco Corona, who has won the Italian Coffee in Good Spirits Championship multiple times.

Five days of total coffee experience for all coffee lovers wishing to experience the fascinating world of espresso and milk-based drinks (full calendar on and on the official MUMAC Academy social media pages on Facebook and Instagram, which will feature live coverage and streaming).

Gruppo Cimbali’s innovative Internet of Things solutions

The Group’s stand also focuses on the innovative Internet of Things solutions that make it possible to analyse the parameters of every drink dispensed by the machines connected via WiFi (fully-automatic and traditional), to monitor the performance of the models and business trends and to improve the day-to-day management of the business.

A distinctive feature of the Iot system developed by Gruppo Cimbali, one of the first companies in the sector to use telemetry, is its bidirectionality, which makes it possible to remotely adjust machine settings (e.g. temperature, infusion and extraction times, etc.), analyse consumption data, customise icons and menu layouts and display special offers, advertising banners and promotional videos.

Faema is the official sponsor of the Italian Barista Championship

Finally, Faema will once again be the official sponsor of the Italian Barista Championship, the competition dedicated to the best baristas in Italy and the only one to award the coveted Italian title.

The competitors will use the Faema E71E, the machine for coffee specialists appreciated by every barista.

The winner will represent Italy at this year’s WBC at MICE (Melbourne International Coffee Expo), from 4 to 7 May.

Meanwhile, the ultra-compact and high-performance Faema Groundbreaker grinder will be used by the participants in the finals of the Italian Latte Art Championship and the Italian Coffee In Good Spirits Championship.
