Costa Coffee added to their accolades on Tuesday 25th November by winning ‘Best Branded Coffee Shop Chain in Europe’ at the Allegra European Coffee Awards 2014.
Held in Istanbul as part of the Allegra European Coffee Symposium, the awards recognised companies and individuals who have made the most outstanding contributions within the European coffee shop and food-to-go markets.
Costa’s success was celebrated further with Andy Marshall, Managing Director for Costa International Franchise, being recognised with a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and commitment, to not just the coffee industry, but the Costa business and his international franchise team.
Andy drives also the corporate responsibility agenda at Costa, and his passion for ensuring ethical practices is inspirational.

Costa’s, Master of Coffee, Gennaro Pelliccia was also recognised in the top four leading experts as having made an outstanding contribution to the European coffee industry.
Costa Coffee now has over 2,900 stores across 30 countries, including over 1,800 stores in the UK and over 300 in Europe. Costa continues to grow in to new markets covering operations in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, North Africa, India, China and South East Asia.
