KANSAI, Japan – Kansai Airports announces that Espresso & Bakery will open in the international gate area, Terminal 1 of Kansai International Airport ( KIX ) on March 31, 2019. Run by Pronto Corporation as a new outlet joining its portfolio, this European style cafe will give sophistication and quality to your coffee break at the airport.
Under its theme “we bring Europe to you”, the Espresso & Bakery cafe will brew coffee from beans of Caffè Vergnano, a long-established famous Italian brand, with a super-premium coffee machine from Switzerland called Schaerer, which KIX is the very first one to introduce in Asia.
What’s more, the cafe will offer bread including their signature products — croissants and pain au chocolat — made based on recipes from France with an uncompromising pursuit of the best quality and taste.
The cafe is also environmentally conscious. Their use of ecological materials such as paper cup lids and biodegradable straws invites you to be an environmentally friendly traveler.
