SEATTLE, Washington – The FC-1 coffee machine by Duvall Espresso was one of the most eagerly anticipated highlights at the SCA Expo in Houston. Initially unveiled as a prototype at the 2018 SCA Expo in Seattle, Duvall Espresso officially started sales this month for its machines, available in one, two, and three-group models.
The FC-1 Coffee Machine by Duvall Espresso
The FC-1 features Flow Ramp technology allowing baristas to preset extraction times, volumes, and flow rates for each shot, regardless of variations in grind size, tamp, or dose. This innovative technology reduces the need for constant barista attention during espresso preparation, so they can have more time to focus on the customer experience.
To meet the precision and versatility requirements of the FC-1, Duvall Espresso has also implemented the Smart-Pump technology.

This innovation enables the machine to instantly achieve any desired flow rate—from 0.01 cc/sec to 30 cc/sec with real-time accuracy at any pressure between 0 and 14 bars. It also monitors the total dispensed volume more precisely than traditional flowmeters. The result? A more versatile and precise machine.
Each group is equipped with an independent 3-liter coffee boiler, ensuring temperature stability for espressos and larger coffee servings up to 12 fl oz, with 1 fl oz.
The FC-1 components, including pumps and pulleys, are visible from the outside, allowing customers to engage actively in the espresso preparation process.
The machines can be purchased at $17,000 for the single-group model, $25,000 for the two-group model, and $32,000 for the three-group model.
