LONDON – Many women are working in the coffee chain, at any level. Thanks to courses, debates, tastings, journeys they start to play a more important role in both work environments and associations within Scae.
For the second year, takes place in London Barista Connect – Women’s Coffee Event 2016, addressed to women in coffee, from 9th to 11th September.
Dalla Corte, one of the sponsor, will take part to a three-day conferences, educational workshops, sensorial trainings, discussions within the Coffee Community in a dynamic city.
The idea to organize these meetings comes from the Austrian barista champion Sonja Zweidick, who noticed the disproportion between men and women participating to Scae competitions, never won by women.
The general aim is to provide women baristas tools and opportunities to overcome gender disparity.
The program is very rich of events, open to 58 women in coffee.
