Taiwan’s unique brand of coffee culture receives international recognition

TAIPEI, Taiwan -Taiwan’s coffee culture has become a touchstone for quality across the Strait. Several baristas in Shanghai said they are familiar with coffee industry techniques used in Taiwan and that they had received training from Taiwanese professionals. Coffee industry professionals in Taiwan have won top prizes in various world competitions.

Vietnam’s Da Lat reserve coffee is back in Starbucks stores globally

HANOI – Vietnam’s Đà Lạt is back in Starbucks stores globally following a year of disruption. Designated as a Starbucks Reserve Coffee, Đà Lạt coffee was sold by Starbucks for the first time in January 2016. Starbucks Reserve coffees are rare, small-lot coffees selected by the company’s experts and roasted in Seattle.
