LONDERZEEL, Belgium – As demand for single-serve capsule coffee grows exponentially, very few companies have placed so much importance on the quality as Belmoca. In 2010, Belmoca bravely launched a unique closed-system aluminium capsule targeted at B2B customers.
After years of intense R&D, Belmoca later launched the 1st aluminium Nespresso® compatible capsule on the market under the Belmio® brand.
Belmoca chose to make capsules with aluminium material since it is the only material that can totally lock in the freshness and aroma of the coffee and keep out oxygen that degrades the taste of coffee.

It’s all about the coffee
In 2016, the Belmio® brand was born out of the desire to bring a luxury coffee experience to the consumer. Belmoca became experts in the blending and roasting of fine hand selected coffees for single serve capsules.
“At Belmio, we are really particular about the coffees we select and using aluminium for our capsules gives us confidence that these coffees will produce the best possible result for our customers. Our blends are sourced and created by our own in-house master blender and roasted and packed in an oxygen free environment in our state-of-the-art facility in Belgium.” remarks Adler.
Aluminium also has the added benefit that it is infinitely recyclable. Aluminium capsules are easier to recycle than plastic capsules especially since there is no plastic or silicone in the Belmio® capsules.
The Belmio brand is already available in more than 20 countries and the team have ambitious growth plans as they look further afield to team up with experienced distributors who share the potential and vision for the brand.
