Bahrain to host second edition of Chocolate and Coffee Expo2017

MANAMA, Bahrain – Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) will patronize the second edition of Chocolate and Coffee Expo2017. The event will take place at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC) on December 7-9.

“The overwhelming success of the first edition in last December engaged more than 15,000 visitors and 51 participants, therefore, this year’s edition looks forward to double this number to at least 30,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors”, said Yasmin Jamal, CEO of Bidayaat.

She said the Chocolate Expo gathers under one roof Exhibitors, Chocolatiers, Entrepreneurs, and all interested individuals and benefits them with new investment opportunities in the Chocolate and Coffee Field.

This Exhibition opens their eyes to the best Chocolate’s products, services and equipment of the Regional and International Manufacturers and Suppliers.

Furthermore, Chocolate Makers and interested Investors will gain an ideal platform to strengthen their productive partnerships and business relationships and explore new horizons in Chocolate Industry and Trade.

Visitors had obtained an exclusive opportunity to share the moments of making the biggest landscape of Bahrain’s sea front made out of small chocolate pieces, and a fun experience of tasting varieties of rich chocolate flavors.

At the same time, they had supported the Bahraini Vital Tourism Sector which witnessed a threefold growth over the past decade.

She added that the efforts aim to enhance the work relationship with the Expo Strategic Partners, and at the forefront, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) which has played a major role in the success of the Exhibition, which eventually contributed to the promotion of chocolate and coffee industry and national economy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani attended the first edition Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition and paid a tribute to the dedicated efforts.

In addition, the Expo was visited by VIPs, delegations, officials, businessmen and businesswomen.
