VESCOVATO, Italy – Asachimici-pulyCAFF has renewed its partnership with WCE – World Coffee Events, and once again takes the stage alongside the competitors in the seven global finals of the SCA championships, serving as the WCC Official Cleaning Sponsor 2025.

“Last year’s experience highlighted the crucial role of equipment cleaning in every discipline. That’s why we are proud to once again support professionals across all the categories, ensuring optimal competition conditions thanks to the use of our cleaning products,” says Gianfranco Carubelli, administrative manager of Asachimici-pulyCAFF, together with his brother Marco.

Furthermore: “We’ve also created a customized pulyCAFF kit, tailored to the specific needs of each competition, which finalists and judges will receive during the award ceremonies. After all, only clean equipment can truly preserve the flavors and aromas contained in the coffee bean throughout its transformation. This has been our guiding principle for over sixty years, and our goal is to continue to improve through ongoing research into raw materials, product effectiveness, and eco-friendly packaging.”

“One of our mottos is ‘First in the world’. With pulyCAFF Plus, we were the first ones to develop a truly applied concept for cleaning espresso machines,” continue the company’s leaders from Vescovato, Cremona. “Since then, the espresso machine industry has evolved, and so have our products: after pulyCAFF Plus, pulyMILK Plus arrived, for cleaning steam wands. As 2025 WCC Official Cleaning Sponsors, we are proud to also showcase our Verde Line, made with even more refined and renewable ingredients: pulyCAFF Verde, pulyMILK Verde, pulyGRIND Crystals (for cleaning grinders and grinding chambers), pulyGRIND Hopper (for cleaning hoppers and dosers), and pulyBAR Igienic for cleaning exterior surfaces and workstations.”

Operator safety, equipment protection, and environmental sustainability are three core values for Asachimici-pulyCAFF. This commitment is certified by the NSF International – National Sanitation Foundation, the strict U.S. public health standards, whose seal appears on the packaging of pulyCAFF, pulyMILK, and puly COLD BREW.

In the first months of 2025, the company also renewed its ISO certifications – 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environment), 45001 (Health & Safety), and 22000 (Food Safety) – further confirming its adherence to international standards.

Additionally, Asachimici has enhanced its products with packaging made entirely from 100% recycled plastic. This applies to: pulyMILK, pulyMILK Verde, pulyCAFF Plus, pulyCAFF Verde, pulyGRIND Crystals, pulyDESCALER Espresso (liquid descaler for machines and electric kettles), CALCINET (powder descaler for boilers, heating elements, and cup washers), puly COLD BREW (cleaner for cold brew machines and dispensers), pulyMILK Capucino (cleaner for automatic cappuccino machines)

Just like last year, pulyCAFF awarded cash prizes during the Italian finals at Sigep, and it is supporting several competitors on their challenging path toward the world championships.

Among them: Gianluca Lavacca, co-owner (with Giovanni Antonacci) of the micro-roastery Il Manovale and finalist in the World Coffee Roasting Championship in Houston; Stefano Cevenini and Andrea Villa, who will compete respectively in the World Latte Art Championship and the World Coffee in Good Spirits in Geneva.

At each event, the Cleaning Experts will be available for those who would like to learn more about the most effective products for cleaning espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.

To explore these important topics further, Asachimici-pulyCAFF also offers free 4-hour training sessions called Puly Day, which combine theorical and practical experience in a highly effective format.
