NEVADA, U.S. – Coffee Gator, the premium coffee making accessory brand claims its new french press coffee maker is precision designed and engineered to make the new breed of coffee connoisseurs smile from ear to ear.

“Without doubt coffee is the new wine. It’s no longer just a drink, it’s a passion,” says the company Founder Phil Williams.

“When we started work on this product, I made a promise to myself that it would be the best french press on the market. After 191.5 days of research, design and development I feel happy that we have achieved that,” he explains.

The company says a major gripe of coffee lovers is that their brew goes cold too quickly. The new Coffee Gator french press solves the problem with a vacuum insulated double-skin design.

It’s made from surgical grade 304 stainless steel and the product’s walls are 33.33% thicker than other products on the market (0.8mm compared to 0.6mm).

Other features of the new Coffee Gator french press include:

  • A double-filter for a cleaner brew.
  • The Coffee Gator signature ‘gunmetal grey’ matt colour.
  • A mini canister for taking your coffee to work or out on your travels.
  • A bonus ebook guide called ‘The 5 essential steps to better coffee’.

While this new coffee french press is a big milestone for the company, it’s certainly not the beginning of the Coffee Gator story.

The company began after Founder Phil Williams discovered a passion for coffee while travelling through Colombia and Guatemala (before that he admits to drinking instant). Since the company’s birth in January 2015, Coffee Gator has been in a state of hyper-growth. Williams puts it down to coffee drinkers becoming more enthusiastic and demanding about their brew.

The company says helping people to drink better coffee is fundamental – along with providing great customer service. But a browse through the Coffee Gator Facebook page suggests this is definitely not a business that follows convention. Notably, the video ‘Would you lick my box?’ features Phil Williams asking random passers-by whether they would lick the Coffee Gator product packaging.

“Yes, it was a bizarre idea,” admits Williams, “But we like to surprise people. I got the idea after being inspired by hearing a Steve Jobs quote that Apple products were beautiful enough to lick.

I happen to think that our Coffee Gator packaging is a thing of beauty so I wanted to find out if anyone out there would be willing to lick it,” he explains.

The final video is both hilarious and, at times, excruciating (to find out if anyone takes up the offer you’ll have to watch the video yourself).
